What a lovely colourful bird! Great focus and nice close framimg. It's good that the mouth is slightly open. The eye detail is awesome and I can see what looks like your reflection in it.

Nice close up. He doesn't look too trilled to be part of a photoshot. Nice detail. I like that some of his feathers a bit ruffled, looks like he tried to puff up in order to intimate you. Flat green is nice contrast. Too bad you did not capture his whole head. Duh, yes you do have his whole head. Nice feather style :) lol

The cardinal is Ohio's bird. Oddly enough it's rare to see them around my home, these birds have such wonderful color to them and capturing this guy with him looking at you is way too cool. Looks like he's trying to say something.

This is a terrific photo of a cardinal. You don't often see the male one's that are all red. I love the color red and you have got this one very close up and clear...down to the expression on his face! Beautiful photo!

I can't imagine having these fabulous bright birds flying around - all the wild birds in England seem to be plain old brown! This is a great shot willie - love the open beak and amazing fine detail in the feathers.
