This is a nice shot. His foot is a little close to the edge of the frame at the bottom though? It would be nice if the background were thrown out of focus a bit more - this would be a 6. The focus is good, The composition is pretty nice too. The color is great and the detail in the feathers is fantastic! Really nice shot.

you have to love these super fishing birds and also this great capture. they are very timid and prone to flying off if they spot you. other than this they are ideal models as they stand motionless, looking for their next meal. great exposure and clarity and he would make a fine painting.

What a beautiful picture. The focus on the bird is perfect and the colours are great! I like that the background is a bit blurred as it brings the eye back to the bird. Simply stunning!
