Great angle and composition on this image. Poor old turkey vulture is just not a very pretty thing, but you have have done a good job of making him so. Good colors, focus and clarity are strong.

Wonderfully composed.The detail is so sharpen the bird and the green background really helps it stand out and give it a lot of impact. The notes are terrific.

Yes, and we have them all over Florida. They all seem to know to come around on garbage day in our sub-division, ripping open the bags and making a terrible mess. You did quite nicely with this shot. SDOF is remarkable. Lighting is good, and the subject sharp and detailed. Excellent.

Very nice photo. I think that these birds are rather unattractive, what with their bare red heads. But maybe in person they are impressive because of their size. In any case these types of birds are nature's way cleaning up the earth and are so necessary. You were able to get a wonderful photo of him(?). The photo is so very clear and detailed. There appears to be just a little light on his back, but no heavy shadows. I don't think I've ever seen one up close, only vultures circling in the air. Great catch. Thanks for sharing.

Nice photograph Willie, but such an ugly bird .. we have many where I live and I hate to see them on top of the road kill .. the funny thing is that when a bald eagle appears to take his fill, they jump right back to give him the right of way .. good job .. jill
