Good composition and use of space. The bird looks nice against the dark background and really makes it stand out. Image looks well focused and shows good detail. Lightning and colors are good. Initial impact is good.

This is so pretty. Also makes me chuckle a bit as well. Not the photo bc it is great. But, the fact that just yesterday morning I opened my patio door and one of these little guys flew in to the house... It was funny to watch him around the fake flowers on the mantle and then realize..ooops I gotta get outta here. lol. Thanks for sharing this. This is beautiful.

Thank you so very much! How did you get him out? I have had the Carolina Wren get in my home but never a humming bird!

Well.. to get him out, I opened both doors wide. Thank goodness for French doors in times like these.. :) And just kind of showed him the way by fluttering a jacket behind him. I didn't want to hurt the little guy. And he got the hint pretty quick. Thank goodness. :)
