Thank you so very much! It does scare the bird! They will fly sometimes but a lot of time them fly right back.

Holy Cow Willie was she setting on the rim of the lens? LOL Pretty neat to see the detail of the new fethers coming in. I know it is mokting time I have feathers all over my yard. Mostly House Finch ones.

Now you sure did get in this ones face to take this one. Your bird pictures are just amazing the ay you are able to get so close up to the,. The detail you see in this and the way she is looking at you are great. The detail you see is stunning. I think you must pay them to pose for you. Just an exceptional and beautiful picture.

Hahaha, the title is just the icing on the cake for this photo. I love the texture that you captured here! Great colour and lighting, would have been perfect if there was a little more light on the right side although I know wild birds are not the most cooperative and well versed models a photographer will encounter. I like the centred composition. Well done!

This is amazing. The photo is pin sharp and each single feather is standing out. The baby birds are of course cute, but it is still the fully grown I find the most beautiful with a few exceptions. I think this is a fantastic close up. You are definitely the "bird man" on this site.
