Colors are indeed everywhere. Shows a singulare care which is devoted to espression. The heron is composed correctly and flows to the implanted log. Has a feeling for beauty and the study of the real predominates. Nicely captured and best in the contest-HEK

Great browns and gold's in the background, very good detail in your heron. Nice close up and crisp colors.
Good use of thirds and like your choice of blurring out the background bringing focus to your subjects.

This is a stunning image Willie. I thought at first that it must be mixed media and then I realised that it wasn't - it was simply outstanding photography! The composition and clarity are perfect with the lovely reflections but the autumnal colours that you've captured so beautifully here are what makes this extra special in my eyes.
