It is very true about war, the only way to change the world is through Love and nothing else, the expression on the girls face is haunting almost as the past wars are, terror fear disappointment, the innocence humanity does take away from children, sad to see such anger on a childs face and to seee that innocence gone at such a young age, this is beautiful and conveys your message perfectly

I love this! you can see anger in the little girls eyes, with the edited effects added in it reflects the pain and suffering you would expect to find in children that are affected by war. Absolutely beautiful with a deep meaning behind it.

This is a very powerful image! Erie, sadness, tragedy, innocence, and hope lost. You created a very nice piece with all the different images. It is free flowing, the colors blend well, and there is a lot of dimension here with the ghost like feel. Nice work.

Thank you very much. The little girl really ask why. She is one of the Central American children who are going old before they ever were young.

This is a very creative entry for the contest, and so efficient. The angry look in the little girl's face is priceless and fits both the theme, the title and your notes. I can fully appreciate all the work behind this image.
You have added a lot of interesting things in the background but also horrible. Cities on fire, soldiers and the crosses indicates death. A death suffered of so many even in our days. Also the barbed wire across the image tells us about the imprisonment caused by wars.
I think this is really well composed with the right coloring and the right effects to provoke our thinking. I wish you luck with the contest. I would believe this image will do well.
