I think that somehow it has been ringed or tagged because just above the blue thing there is a dark ridge which is not on the other foot. Your photo has a good composition giving us a good look at the scene. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed. It has just enough blur on the wings to provide a sense of motion. Very good photo, well done!

I never tire of seeing hummingbirds.
Like seeing this one getting some nourishment, her long beak in full view, and the blur her wings make in their motion.
Pretty colors of flowers, bird and backround.
Good focus.
The composition is nice with different levels of flowers and where the bird is placed.

Like seeing this one getting some nourishment, her long beak in full view, and the blur her wings make in their motion.
Pretty colors of flowers, bird and backround.

Wow, great shot Willie, love the fact that you caught the little guy drinking and yet his wings are still a bit faster that the shutter speed, quick little guys...nice colors on the flower and the blurred background is very pleasant...great work!
