It sure looks like you were ready for him to take off. Very good detail in this wonderful action shot with outstanding lighting. Did you wait until it got in the great light or did it just happen.

Thank you so very much! The light was just right that morning. I use sequential fire and just shoot and refocus and shoot some more and just take what I get.

This is amazing the way you caught him in flight like this. I guess it was worth the wait to get such a fantastic shot as this. I like the way you left just a little of the stump in the picture. An excellent and beautiful picture.

Willie, when I see photographs like this it tempts me to move out of the city, but then again we don't actually have the waterways that you guys do :)
Beautiful image once again you have time it perfectly to show the wings to perfection. Reflections on the water from the trees and the lighting is great.

Not capture Willie. The lighting is very effective and the reflections on the neck add some punch to this. The image seems sharp, colors good and composed well. (I may have removed the stump at the left - just me though.) john
