A wonderful sky you have captured in this shot. The light in credible with interesting cloud formations. The silhouette of the boat adds impact. Colours are warm throughout the image.
There is a sense of movement of the sea. Your notes were informative. Well done, thanks for sharing an enjoyable seascape shot. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you very much! I think you are right with that horizon. I tried but I seem to be unable to find it the horizon line among the water and clouds. When I draw a line, my program tells me that it is already straight. The Land is no help because it is a cape going up to the left. It seems just to small and dark on my laptop. [Of course it could be my eyes.] When I blow it up the sequence is too small and too pixelated to find that line. My eyes may getting to bad to work with that kind of pictures.

Nice brilliant sunrise. The burning clouds are wonderfully reflected on the water making for a nice dramatic scene. Well framed, excellent color and contrast.

Sometimes the storms do hit somewhere else in the area; but this one hit direct with rain storm and thunder. The most beautiful sky's are often before and after hurricanes.
