This fits the contest so well, you have achieved wonderful motion blur against the crossing sign. I think the use of the sign an excellent choice as it emphasises the speed of motion of the passing train.

I like it too, the motion of the train, and the stillness of the sign and the road below.
They are in focus, and then we have the blur behind..a very neat effect.
Good clarity, light, composition and idea.

Well I dont know if work for the contest but I love it.
As you mention the yellow sign just make you think twice,right... I mean who could imagine there is danger if not for because of that.

Looks like a perfectly good blur to me. The story is all here. Everything that isn't blurry is clear. Lighting is adequate. Good composition. Colors are true to life. Certainly fits the contest goal. Good luck.

Excellent subject matter, very well composed and framed. All your camera settings in this instance are spot on. The colour contrast between the sign and the blurred carriages really accentuate your photo. You have turned something ordinary into something quite special. Very well done.

Love it, nice shot, the story is clear...speed plus stationary and I find it ironic that one should "yield" and not stop...seems a bit of a soft instruction...nice work!
