I WOULD SAY IT IS VERY CLOSE. I LOVE HOW WELL FOCUSED THE PICTURE IS WITH THE BLURRED BACKGROUND GIVING GREAT CONTRAS. NOT TO MENTION THE PRETTY BRIGHT RED.

Close is right. This is a great capture of Cardinal. Good catchlight in the eye. Looks like his top beak has a crack in it. Great focus and detail. It was a pleasure to review. Well done. Sam

Did you set up a bird blind or have your camera on a remote control near a feeder? Brilliant shot. Close, sharp, excellent crop, and detail in the feathers and eye that are extraordinary. Fantastic. Beautiful job.

beautiful shot, crisp clean and neat, lovely color and not over adjusted, very well done the only complaint would be a slightly different crop, but as they say everything is subject, over all great shot and well done!
