Wonderful portrayal of the american sport we all so love. The detail os the sand and player sliding into home is great. Almost like this was a photo edited. Wonderful composition and thanks for sharing.

Very nice upper angled approach with this rich artistic creation. Love all the detailing, the great line design appeal as well as your defining light to dark contrasting. Great composition.

Such an interesting and unusual "plan view" (directly overhead) of a baseball player sliding into home base. All the white lines and the white of his uniform work together in concert to form a distinct pattern and the different color and angles of his arm provide variety and interest to the otherwise regular pattern of lines. Diagonal lines, of course, indicate "movement" in art as does "blur" in photography and you have both here, so there is no doubt that this man is moving, although I probably would have added some dust or some disturbance around the leading foot, or knocked that base askew to indicate that he was coming in so hard and fast that he knocked it out of place (artistic license!) The dirt/sand is really well rendered and provides a pleasing background and "field" for the subject.

You used a superb angle to sketch this, like using a hidden camera. Wonderful simplicity. Even so, it elicits emotion.

Great view from above. Form and style look great and believable. Just wondering however why one needs to slide into home if he hit a home run:) Well done, john

This is fantastic. It looks so real. Great job. I can't believe you did that with a sharpie. What are BIC markers?
