Yes, eyes are the best aren't they? Good use of color and catchlight placement to give the 3D look. Acrylic was an excellent choice for this! Rich coloration and excellent piece! Jean

Looks so real! I can see reflections in the eye which looks like glass. No idea how you manage to achieve that with paint! Looking at eyes whether they belong to animals or humans always makes my own eyes water! But I have seen enough to know this is absolutely first class work. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

WOW !! Stunning piece of work. The technique of the brush strokes around the eye certainly lets the observer see that it is the eye of an animal. Lovely texture in those strokes. The eye is amazing - great reflections and shading. A most unusual subject technically superbly executed.

nice close up. nice fur.

love the golden eye.
my cat has golden eyes and he is a pretty boy. he will let me know when some one is on the place. yesterday the service man was about and he started growling. the upper highlight seems a bit heavy to me?

This painting is amazing. I'm very impressed with the work in the entire image, but the centerpiece is that spectacular eye. (I almost expect to see a reflection in the eye of you behind an easel, painting, wouldn't that be a cool project?)
