A real charmer and excellent contest entry. The little boy's face is the highlight of whole shot for me since it really sends across such a message of pure joy. Color and clarity are all excellent. Not sure I like the rain filter look, but that is just a personal taste thing. Quite a wonderful work.

Smiled when I saw this image. Read your notes and yes, you are correct. I can remember doing the same things when I was a child. But rain can be a real pain. Here in the UK we have had nothing but rain for weeks on end. Lots of places are flooded and with high tides and gale force winds, it is no joke. Had twice the amount of rainful for this time of the year!

Really good one for the contest this,and full marks for getting this,kids can make for fun shots,its what i used to take when my daughters were growing up,so much better than posed shots,thats what kids do,perfect moment caught well,good luck in the contest,somehow don,t think you will need it...brian

Just look at the delight on this little boys face...it's a delight and one which should warm the cockles of everyones heart...the centralisation, and the clarity, and the lighting is quite remarkable and you are complimented on it...Cheers

Excellent! He does look like he is having loads of fun in the puddles. Great composition, excellent focus giving nice detail, love the reflection in the water, superb colour clarity and DOF. Excellent camera and editing skill, well done and good luck!

Having grown boys and remembering how they loved the water, I really loved your notes. And this photo is just so precious!! I LOVE the way mommy has him all dressed up to play in the rain, too.
