The composition of this image is what caught my attention at first but the more I enjoy its beauty it's the creativity and thought that has captured my admiration. I never knew green could look so awesome.

There is something lovely about weeping willows... they have branches that are like ballerinas in the wind. Nice GREEN artwork. I like gentle digital... rather than that with a rough edge. This is nice.

Wow! What a wonderful piece of art. The beautiful green dotted by just enough purple and white. The small tree in the background shrouded by lite fog. Masterful job.

could be shades of grey like the book. so what does green represent?

love the image and the willow tree. I have one growing in my yard and my mom too. hers is the mom of mine. hers is very big too.

Soft and pretty digital composition, very soothing on the eye and definitely mainly green.
All elements work well together to create an ambient and pleasant image.
good luck in the Green contest.

I am most impressed. I did not realize the possibilities of digital art until I saw this piece. The clouding or mist in the far valleys is quite visually captivating and the leaf consistency and structuring on the tree is just stunning in its complexity of forms. It would take countless hours to produce by hand so wonder the time involvement of this work. Wish you had put it in your artist notes, but perhaps the contest precludes that... donīt know. Great job even down to the shading details in the lily pads.

I am so happy to be able to give you my first six star review Shawn.I love the title you chose for this painting,
very different, for sure.I love the subtlety of the many shades of green and the small
pops of yellow and purple.The
weeping willow and pines are my favorite trees also.I also want to say the feeling I go when I first viewed this was most definitely pensive. You have my vote for sure and I wish you the very Best of Luck~
Angelheart :)

Angel, thank you so very very very much. And again, I thank you for the fabulous stars!! It's amazing how many people have memories attached to weeping willow trees. We're finally getting some rain here in So Cal, but now they're worried about mud slides and flooding. If I didn't have to stay by the computer, I'd be out splashing in a big puddle, LOL! Again, thank you for this!! :)shawn
