Splendid work my friend! I have no sixes left and if I did it would be yours! I love your creations, from the heart through the love of the lord! I find the work so intriguing and wonderfully expressive! I have seen this face before and she has a certain charm about her that can the girl next door! The facial expression is just stunning, created with only a pencil, splendid indeed! The chair is brilliant, each indent has its degree of wear, it's placement is most fitting. You have such a natural gift for expressive art, and I instantly knew this was your work. The creases in her shirt are so realistic, one would think this was an old black and white photograph! The piece does give the projection of early 19th. Century in the way she is dressed and the furniture has that regal appeal from back when they made furniture that meant something. I enjoy your artwork, and as always, hope all is well with you. Take care my dear friend, let your hands lead the way and the lord will take care of you! Talk to you soon, take care and god bless Linda!

    Dearest Ron,
We meet again in the juncture of life. This art-road we're travelin' continues to cross time and time again. Spiritual journey, for sure. You have done another stellar job at reviewing, as you always do. Looking deeply into the art/piece, and picking certain items to comment on that catch your attention. You definately have a passion for the world to which Christ has called us to. God uses my art to touch peoples hearts and draw them to that place where they say, Lord, please, open my eyes, that I might see you, my heart, that I might receive you. The other things that I draw are for the shear joy of creating. This one was a challenge. I wanted to get the veranda looking so real, that it would appear to be a photo. Didn't know the first thing on how to accomplish it, but I prayed, and God told me to just continue, and He would lead me step-by-step. So what you see, Ron, is what God has done. Thank you so much for your fantastic review. God richly bless you,
    Linda

You have a great talent. This is very beautiful. The woman looks realistic. The shading is perfect, it makes the chair look like satin or leather with a sheen on it. I love the way you drew her face, hair and hands. Spectacular!

Linda, I have looked at all your work I can find in this site and I have to say that I think you are one of the best traditional artists I have ever seen. In all your work including this one your technique is flawless. Your perspective is wonderful. The emotion your work portrays comes through brilliantly. Your use of light and dark is excellent. I already am a fan of yours and I love all the work you have done. Thank you for the opportunity to see your work.

Your review is definately wonderful, and uplifting. I am honored that you like the art that I do. Pencil is a challenge, but so rewarding. Most people like colors in their art, but I love dark and light, and playing with shadows and highlights. Thank you so much.

This is an awesome drawing the way you have done it. The realistic appearance, the detail in the work, the shading, the expression, the way you have the highlights, the entire drawing are all excellent. A beautiful work of art.

Wonderful work, Linda! How sweet it is to see an ARTIST earn their stars the true, honest, and respectable way. By PURE TALENT. You chose the title perfectly, also. Could not be more appropriate. You have PERFECTLY captured the soul of the subject. I can feel the gentle, yet intense and relentless pressures of her youthful, passionate thoughts and dreams. Her soul is pouring through her eyes, which are the focal point of her expression. Linda, your handling of values, textures, light, and shade are immaculate. Proportions are perfect. Wow, I am amazed. The styles and time frame of everything I see here are so convincing that it is unreal. Yes, and though I know she is not, this incredibly beautiful young model just slightly reminds me of Jodie Foster. Linda, you are a truly WONDERFUL TALENT. I have been holding on to this 6+ for days, waiting for 1 worthy work. Here it is, thou deserving ARTIST!
