A very clear concept showing the height and awesome power of the incoming Tsunami and the fury of the preceeding winds. This image invokes the feeling of a Japanese woodblock print, beautiful detail in the sea grasses and the palm trees, while using an abstract technique in the water and waves. Terrific tonal quality. Well done. Sandy

Thank you so very much for the wonderful review, Sandy!! And you're right, I was unsure how to list it because it isn't totally abstract. :)

Your creativity and use of design have given this great story telling ability and initial impact. Your use of B&W really enhances the power of tsunami ... you can actually feel the wind.

A very interesting adaptation of a incoming tsunami Shawn..
I thought at first it was a better depiction of a typhoon but I see your intent now.. Still The typhoon thing does work for me.lol. I like the grass heads all blowing in the strong winds and the palm fronds giving way as well. Always nice to see good art...Dennis

I think you're right, Dennis. It does look more like a typhoon because of the choppier waves. A tsunami would be one large wave. Thank you so very much for the great review, and I will take your suggestion and change the title.

You sure have caught the mood with the colouring and bending leave/grasses in the wind. I can almost feel the power as the great wall of water heads to shore. Very clever and a very powerful image.
