Well, This is a holiday scene for sure. The frame looks like a wondow that has been wiped off. The snow make it real.

Good idea, planning, and execution.

Very good job, well done.

It looks pretty enough to be your Christmas card Annie.
It's a nice idea. I would like to have seen the original though. I'm thinking it would have looked quite striking against the blue sky.
I wish I had the courage to experiment. Thank you.

To review this I have looked for:
Initial Impact.
Texture.
Lighting.
Technique.
Framing.

Colours.
Difficulty of shot. Lovely composition Annie. Look even better with a robin on a branch. Should have put it in the Christmas competition.
In my estimation, I believe this to be a 5 star rating.

Wonderful idea and it came off looking so good. I really like it and think this is a great technique. Love the color scheme and the action of the snow. Of course I'm in Costa Rica to get away from that kind of white stuff, but I still like seeing it. Especially when it's done so well. Keep up the work and thanks for sharing.

my first impression was, "hey, the North Pole", and then I read your notes, and now it's "hey, the North Pole"! very creative, and goes to show perception can be everything. very creative, nicely executed, and the blue tint makes me shiver. congrats on something cool.

Initial Perception: Christmas card
Emotionally Charged: yes - burr
Story Telling Ability: Yes
Colour Harmony: works well together - complement the chill
Title: fits
Artist Notes: descriptive
Technical Creativity: the way that this is framed within the frosted blue edges and the depth of the trees with ice -- just works well together, and today in my world it is snowing outside and there is already two inches on the ground - very unusual before Thanksgiving - going to be cold this year - anyway this picture of yours is very special and unique
Center of Interest: the tree limbs and the sky
