Great shot! Nice lighting and subject. I love that you can see right into the window to his soul. The background blurred out as it is is also very nice and the dog is very well focused. I love this picture of your friends dog. He looks like he would be everyones friend.

love the look in his face it really does look as though he is pouting in the snow

Yes he does look funny. I really like his expression and the way he is eyeing you. Very good light and details! One small suggestion is the blue line that goes though his head is a little distracting.
