I am extremely jealous! I found a tortoise like this in my yard recently and could not get a decent shot to save my life. You shot this from your car window? Was he on higher ground than you? You look eye level. Great focus and lighting!

What a terrific view of him. I can't tell his size, but he obviously was not small. The eyes are quite amazing, with the dark strip across them. You really picked up the amazing color of his head and the folds of his "heck". It is so hard to get a picture of a turtle "face". They tend to withdraw when you try. Really nice photo.
