they look ready to fly and get out of that crowded nest.
the photo is very well focused and the details are very good.
the colors are very natural and the lighting is good.

I saw your earlier post of them and was wondering how you got such close-up photos. I thought maybe out of a window. Now I know it was on a ladder. I'm sorry they are gone, but it is the way of the world. Hopefully the mother will build her nest there again next year, or use the same next? I don't know about hummingbirds. I know that some birds to return to old nesting spots. This is a really good shot of them. I will be anxious to see further shots.

Wow. Been such fun watching these two grow. Mama did a fine job decorating the nest! Amazing job on this one and you really need to stay off ladders

Wow, they look so big in that little nest. What an amazing experience to have seen them like this from the time they hatched until they flew away. Wonder if they ever come back to the next once they fly? They sure look like they are watching you. An excellent picture of them.

Thank you so very much! they are gone from the nest this year. They should be back here next year and hopefully building their own nest in the same area!

I really like the angle and the flow of the composition. I like the way the colors in the birds breasts are repeated in the background. I also am thinking it would be nice if a few of the white hot areas there were muted some. But overall I like the image and the color pallet and the way the composition flows. the only way to solve part of it (the white hot spots) would be to crop a part of the left side away, so that the white dot there does not compete with the white above the birds, keeping that area and them the focal point of the image.

Thank you for the review. I thought the spots looked good. I guess it is a matter of opinion. I could have cloned most of it out. I may see what that looks like!
