The female is supposed to be less colorful than the male, but this bird has plenty of color. The focus is sharp. The black back ground provides good contrast. The is good composition. Good luck in the contest.

This turned out to be great. It definitely does not look like it was taken in bright sun and I do not see any digital noise! Good job post-processing and I hope you win the yellow contest!

This is just a gorgeous picture the way you have done it. This bird is just beautiful. The black background makes the yellow in the bird glow. The detail and the close up are excellent. Everything about this picture is excellent. Good luck in the contest.
