hahaha, smart kitty cat! You really have to get your treats whenever you can.
Love the expression you have caught here, he really does look a little confused by the whole thing. Great blue eyes. Nice lighting to show them off. Best of luck.

Thank you very much. Of course he got his treats. He comes over often. He isn't shew; but other than my cats he is suspicious of cameras. I had to stalk him for a hour to get a docent photos with the telescopic lense.

A nice close up shot of a white feline. I really like the capture of the piercing blue eyes. The white fur looks quite fluffy. The focus, lighting and composition are all good.

What a beautiful cat with all that white fur. I like the blue eyes. The way he is looking at you is great. An excellent picture. I don't think he liked you taking his picture. Good luck in the contest.

Cleo this is a beautiful cat and i enjoyed your notes very much. You can improve his visibility without blowing out any of your highlights by going into Photoshop, go to Adjustments, choose Shadow/Highlight and apply in it's default setting. Then go to Adjustments again but this time choose Levels. On the histogram bring the right indicator towards the left until it meets your light, just touching it. Then bring your left indicator in to provide the contrast. It makes an enormous difference, showing the soft pink in his ears and nose and his beautiful blue eyes. Try it and let me know. I am certain you will love the difference.

Thank you very much Bren, I don't have photoshop. [I can't download any Microsoft programs with my Mexican IP address] But I am usually good of with my programs. I have already adjusted the exposure/lights[lightened shadows and darkened highlights]. If I do more is blowing it out and taking away detail, especially when I burn. He is a complicated subject. His fur is especially reflective it seems. [More than the white on my own pets]. I can't use normal daylight with him, even not in the morning. Tropical light seems to harsh even in the shadow. I was happy that I got him on one of this rear clowdy mornings, but of course; a storm coming and it was a bit to dark. I don't think that I could use any artificial light on him but it wouldn't have done good anyway sins I was to far away. The picture was taken with the telescopic lense. So that is the best I can do. I have better pet photos, but I did somebody a favor with posting this one. Besides I dislike to post the same pets all the time, especially if they are my own. I hope that explains some.

Absolutely. I am so sorry you can not get Photoshop. Their shadow/highlight tool is so helpful, because you can then use levels carefully with no danger of blowing out the whites. How are things coming with your damage? Has everything been saved? Bren

I can do levels with the digital suite, but in this case there just wasn't more to do. The original was to dull and dark.
Thanks for asking. I got the laptop fixed. The water had damaged the contacts of the keyboard but fortunately did not got into the hard drive. One of the cameras should be repaired next week. The other, I don't know jet if repair is possible. Same for the external hard drive. The flat bad scanner is gone. I took the printer apart and could dry and fix it; almost. It works for now fine, but it makes some suspicious noise. I can only fix the mechanics. I don't know enough and see enough to fix the electronic parts myself.
