Yuck! What a horrible hairy creature! However, even though he's really mean looking, it's a brilliant photo as it's very well focussed and shows off so many details! Brilliant photo.

Pretty deadly for bees these guys! Not partial to this creepy bug but have to say what a wonderful shot of him! Nice pin sharp focus with all the intricate details showing on this predator! Nice vibrant natural colors and perfect up close framing! Best of luck in the contest!

This sure is an odd looking creature. The clarity of your photo shows of the bug well. I like the rusted color of the guide rail, its a good back round for this photo. This guy looks like it has the head of a common house fly, but the body of a dragonfly. Really great focus I see every detail on this creature. It looks like he has two feet coming off of each leg, and it sure is a hairy thing. Very interesting creature you have captured. Your photograph is very well taken. Thanks for sharing this guy don't think I have ever seen one like it before. Very good subject matter. Best of luck with the contest.
