A really close close-up. Very well done with everything from the real critical focus to the background color which blends perfectly into the whole wonderful composition.

She is lovely and you made a great photo here.
Think she is less impressive than the male. But she can't help that nor can you.
Good composition.

Very nicely done! That is the same place I try to focus. Very good side light to bring that eye out. Great BG to make this stand out.

That lighting really makes this photograph. It creates a great bit of contrast and really emphasizes the details in her feathers. Very nice portrait!
I also am very fond of the sunshine reflection off her eye as well. That really makes for a captivating point of interest. Very dynamic!
Great shot my friend, I love seeing these!

Brilliant full frame composition of a very attractive bird. Focus is first class as is your exposure. Together they provide gorgeous detail for any viewer or reviewer to enjoy and admire.
Is her beak wearing out at the sides? Great job, well done!

Thank you so very much! Their beak is like finger nails. It continues to grow back! They really use their beak! I caught one when I was a kid! I will never forget the pain as he drew blood!

This is a terricfic shot of the bird.. You have timed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort.
