Do you suppose Count Dracula may have vacationed here. A very haunting view what with the ruins and misty background. It is even kind'a awesome, don't you think?

Thank you very much. I don't know about Count Dracula, but when you cosider the history of the place, perhaps somebody just as bad.

Good lighting and exposure. Good composition. It's a bit flat, but I'm sure that's because of the overcast sky. Thanks for the history lesson.

What an outstanding work of art. This is not only a photo this is true art and by the same journalism in its best. Beauty and information at once. [Your notes are greatly appreciated]. The photo a such is outstanding in itself. The composition perfect. You got all your goals with color treatment and the framing. It indeed looks like an very old picture.

Great flow in this piece. That angle of imagery works well. It really creates a loop that keeps the eye looking around and coming back to the focal point, very dynamic. The colors look a little unsaturated and dry; I think that's a good thing. It adds to the piece. Maybe not in the way you would want; it looks like the landscape of South Texas; dry and dusty. But that adds to the ancient look in my opinion, and the overall effect looks nice. It;s unsettling. That's a good thing. Good contrast between your focal point and the sky and that hill in the top left. Good tonal range. This is a good shot, it works well as a composition and is a good addition to your collection!

Thank you very much for the lovely review. Glad you like my framing. I try not to use it too often though.

Great composition, like the range in the background just peeking through. I like the demure colouring scheme. Lighting is good, impact is strong. I might have boosted contrast in the clouds just a bit to provide more definition.

Thank you very much. I agree about the sky. It looked a bit different in full colors.

Very good impact. The flow of the picture is very good. I like the way the flow of the walkway pulls you into the photo. Good colors.
Very good focus.
Great composition with location of the items in the right places. I like the cloudless in the background which adds a nice feel to the picture.

i like the choice to mute the colors. i think that you have achieved the desired effect. the diagonal split of the foreground and background is interesting as well.
