Wonderful shot, the reflections from the fall tree's make a wonderful backdrop for the Heron. Im sure there a reason for not showing the complete reflection of the heron, but it keeps making me wonder..Top shot nethertheless ;)

Great Depth with awesome detail. color of the reflections suck a person right in and bring out the depth of it.. Lighting is great and impact is strong. But I would have liked to see the "whole" reflection of the bird.

I love the way tat the water acts like a mirror. The colors are beautiful as well. It would have been interesting to put the bottom of the bird in the middle of the photo so that you get the refection of the upper half in the lower half of the shot.

Lovely water - it outshines your heron. I also like the piece of wood sticking up from the water - it balances nicely with the bird. A very nice image - how many more variations can you come up with I wonder?

Willie, this is a beautiful, beautiful image. Beautiful color reflections make the heron look like the king of paradise. If it were me, I would clone the piece of wood on the right out, it just distracts from the beauty of your two main subjects. But that is just a thought.

It sure is great color and reflection. Is there a reason you did not get all the heron reflection? Everything sure looks great. I think you need to take some fish for to pay him the modeling fee.(LOL)

Thank you so very much! To show all the reflection made him too small! I just thought it looked better with the closer crop! I have a lot of him here! I had a hard time choosing the right one!
