That is a very nice close-up you have captured, the detail on the ant is excellent and focus is good. The background is ok but could possibly use toning down a tad (maybe that is my screen). Overall great shot.

this is great. Dinner, when I was in /florida I happened to stand a bit too long on one of this guys mound. Man those red ants really move fast and bite hard. Excellent close up. they really are a whole study of working in groups. I have seen one ant carry something 3 times its size over the ground for at least 20 minutes until it got to its home and then the problem was fitting it down there. others helped.
