i love how the moonlight accentuates all of the colors and makes them shine brightly. and good detail with the pink nail polish on her perfectly manicured feet! i see some twinkling stars in the sky. perfect evening.

Interesting image of girl. I like the vivid colors, they give a lot of impact, and the composition of the many elements in the image. The reflection of the moon in the water is a nice touch.

I like the composition and all the elements within the frame. I like the way you have the highlight from the Moon helping accentuating her curves. the moon could be other then white, like pastel orange or even a light golden yellow, or a shade of the highlight color from her hips. She Still it looks good. the white area in the water also could have been a little more spread out, it looks to concentrated. Or a small highlight along the upper edge of the silhouetted trees, giving the composition a little more depth. To me small stuff, but the kind of small stuff that would have sent this piece over the top.

i was doing this as realistic as possible. here on the bayou like the bright full moon we had a few days ago lights up the whole area. when i was looking at the moon reflection on the bayou this is how i saw it condense and brighter looking than the moon itself.. a yellow would not light the bayou like new moon would. i totally agree about the trees, my bad, ill remember that one for the next time i do another moonlight drawing. your right the top of the trees showing highlights that would have given that ump. im working on lucien, may never had any classes but before this year is up ill hae the Lucein van Oosten online classes that will help be a better artist..thans for the good reveiw.

Comment from Life is but a dream.
All is well with this image of a young gal with no canines. Well drawn, well saturated what is a tad bright and bothersome (to my eyes) is the reflection of the moon on water, can you see it's brighter than the moon itself! Sure would be nice to see some critters.

roflmao!!!..im sorry..i thought about putting a possum or raccon, but some people may not know what it is...now as far as the moon we have had a full moon recently...i was looking out at the bayou and making the commnet to the wife that the reflection is brighter thans the moon. so i have to disagree to to see it with my own eyes....wink..thanks for the great reveiw.

I keep trying to respond to the comment you made back to my comment but for some reason it's not letting me lol. I do not quite a bit about markers, I use them myself. I'm just used to coloring quickly to try and avoid blotchyness, I have yet to post my own marker work yet, but I'll get there too lol. I also dont like it when people use computers to modify traditional art work, sure color adjustment , slightly, is okay, but modifying the smoothness etc makes it look funny. Maybe we just have different personal preferences with coloring with makers, i'm more of a fan of smoothness so I color quickly hehe. Of course I know that other people have different skin tones, I'm saying in relation to the night time scene, maybe the shadows should be more purpley- blue because the light from the moon is usually cooler looking. I still think your drawing is awesome lol

first of all thank you. second not everyone has white skin like they do up north. second if you get out around the bayou on a moonlight night You can See everything...sorry about your feelings of your impression on blotchiness...I am not a painter...i dont work with paints. chalk crayons., toothpicks...i work strcitly with imk markers...i dont go running to puter to have some software programm to help me out..in ink on mistake..throw away the picture and start again. im not offended, im used to people not used to my medium and try to compare me to the others who work with the tradfitional and computers stuff...im just poor mans art...thanks for the reveiw. wink.

wait wait lol, i'm very knowledgeable with markers. I use them myself. I use copic markers, i have yet to post works with it. I think we may just have different techniques while coloring. Like when i use markers I use really quick brush strokes to try and avoid blotchyness and have the colors blend differently. But we all have different techniques. I'm not a fan of mixing the traditional work with computers lol. It makes it look strange.. maybe if the background is digital when the subject is traditional.. but I'm not a fan of blending traditional mediums via digital works. Doesn't make your work poor mans art, that's silly to say. Markers are a great medium, they're just hard because they dry so quickly lol.

I think i tried to write a reply to this, but for some reason it sent my original comment lol. I do know a lot about markers, I use them myself, I'm just used to trying to color quickly to avoid blotchyness in the image, but that may be a personal preference to how you color vs my preference lol. I agree I don't like the combo of traditional and computers.. manipulating the coloring with computers makes it look funny. and of course not everyone has white skin, i'm just saying here it didnt make sense to me because the lighting from the moon might make the skin look a little cooler, like having more purpley-blue shadows . I could

copic are overpriced markers with limited colors..its sad the cheaper ones offer more color selection and i can buy a dozen 36 pack pens than what i would pay for the those overpricedf one...its a prefernce...i have been poor all my life and had to make do with the materials that i can afford..heck i would use sticks and mud if that could get the job done...lol...i keep looking at this and trying to figure out how are you saying i have blochiness..cant see it and this girl has a deep tan...well that waht this FAR is good for everyone has the right to express their opinion and reveiw and dont worry im not mad either...i just disagreee...i stand by my work and i know one mans trash is another mans treasure...i do appre3ciate you taking the time in giving me this reveiw.
