My friend, this year I've noticed an inordinant amount of wasps, do you know why? The colour vibrancy here is well captured and the contrast between the wasp and its prey. Most do not realize that they are carniverous and therefore stings can carry bacteria to humans. Cyn

This is a very fine picture with the red/brown body of the wasp contrasting with the pale green leef. I love the visible detail of markings on the thorax and the sharp upward angle of the wings.

I like the use of the contrasts of green of the leaf and the background. As for the wasp, I hate them, but it does make your photo. I know it is the natural order of things, but I feel sorry for the catalpa worm. The focus is clear and crisp.
