Never tire of seeing good nature shots and like you the fall colors reflected in the water look excellent particularly against the blue/grey of the heron. Great close-up shot once again with good focus.

Love the head shot Willie. I use my vehicle as a blind a lot works on most everything but Hawks as soon as you slow down their gone.

thank you so very much! I know about the hawks! I have one car with a moon roof and I will slide the top open and try to drive under them to shoot up at them. As soon as I get close they are gone!

Another wonderful bird capture, Willie. I have come to expect great shots from you, and you always seem to deliver. The amber color of the water gives a different type of look to the picture. As always, there is super sharp focus.

A good hunting like pose captured here. The neck looks coiled and ready for action. Nice framing on this with good fall colours showing in the background. Nice details caught in the bird's plumage.
