This is an interesting shot. The Blue heron balancing on the stump makes it interesting viewing. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light makes this first rate.Good luck in the contest!

The fish, unfortunately is a tad overexposed. Try a little selecting darkening in that area, and the image will come together 100%
Great patience went into this, overall, great job.

And a great entry for this contest. Great detail in the heron and the reflection has great color in the water.
The fish, unfortunately is a tad overexposed. Try a little selecting darkening in that area, and the image will come together 100%

Very good shot of the blue, he is probably by far a better fisherman then me, oh thats right fisherbird, then I am a fisherman. Your patients seems to always pay off. I am very impressed not only with the capture, but more so with the quality of the photograph. The focus, color,and sharpness of this image just blows me away.
