WOW! Fantastic as usual. Make me feel good and put out a bad one once in a while will you? Sorry 5's are all I have left for it deserves more. Wonderful work. Catching the Action of these little critters is pretty hard so I am told. You certainly pulled it off. Love the Sharpness, background and of course the Subject matter.

Thank you so very much! I have a lot more bad ones than good! I shoot everyday all year long so I get a good one from time to time! I delete a lot of shots!

Wow that was perfect, I like the motion in the wings.Great shot!! would have liked to see more of a background, however the black makes the color in the feather pop out more.

It's great to see the brightly colored patterns on his back, and the blur of the moving wings, and their shape and his long beak, which you nicely captured in this profile.

This is a very good shot of a humming bird. I am actually surprised it did not get higher in the contest. The bird is standing out so nicely against the black back drop. Your focus is very sharp showing lovely details in the bird, and your use of light is very good. The shiny parts of the bird look like pure gold. I actually like the way you have positioned the bird within the frame and the neat cropping. This is a nicely composed image with good balance.
