This is an interesting composition. I see a lot of symbolism here. The colours and 'mood' make it interesting viewing. Fine composition, soft colours and balanced composition makes it very viewable. Good luck in the contest!

Amazing and so very powerful cleo, if I had a six, it would be yours. If I had a 10, it would be too. This communicates the messaging so clearly and succinctly. I think the foggy blending of the images is just so well done. I am speechless... and my husband will tell you this is almost impossible to achieve. LOL Cyn

Very good subject to do a collage about, and the message communicates well with the expression on the girls face, the men in uniform, planes, fire and smoke.
I like the combination of a photography and painting and clippings. It all works well together in your good composition.
The photograph of the girl has good light and is well placed.

Love the drama and passion in this piece. The childs expression tell the story of why. The planes, the soldiers

What a great image, that is upsetting and very thought provoking and brilliantly done. Love the child and the expression, which could easily be saying 'WHY!' and then in the background is the vision of reality of wars, showing burning buildings with all the dirty black smoke rising to the sky, and soldiers marching amongst the gravestones of the fallen. Great focus of the child and really good lighting of the child. Great imagery in the background. Hard hitting impact to this great presentation of war through a child, as you see the image of barbed wire going across her body transparently. Very well done for creating something very special. And what a great title - WHY - So simple, but so effective. Paul - digitalscud.
