Beautiful shot of the grosbeak. So glad you posted it because I have been seeing them at my feeder and had not identified it yet. Exceptional focus with a great natural background blur. Great impact. The best of luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

The female is a brown drab looking girl but the same size and beak.

The male I am seeing has little black spots in the white area. I thought maybe it might be a juvenile. I have seen a female also.

Nice colors, exposure and impact. The clarity in the feathers is very interesting. I think you can eliminate some of the empty space on the left and fill the image with more of the bird for additional impact.

This is a super looking bird with a sun flower seed in his mouth. Nice colors here and he has a nice expression on his face is to the fact that you are sticking the camera in his face. Very nice photo!
