Wonderful shot my friend. It isn't often that we see a bird taking off in flight head on. The wing spread and the feathers are wonderful to see. Great background with the greenery and that wonderful water, his movement causing wake. Well done. Cyn

this is absolutely phenomenal. i cannot believe you were able to capture this "pose" with such focus, clarity, and pov. it looks like it's from prehistoric times! the detail is amazing, the colors of the water switching from green to blue are incredible, but that pose is indescribable. really, i have never seen anything like this.
