Wow you caught two hummingbirds fighting over the space! It is hard to catch these little birds and you captured the moment so very well.. I like the colors of the feathers contrasting against the black background.. Good luck in the contest!

I like the composition the way the birds are placed in the frame. I am thinking that the black background needs to be something other then black and see how you changed that area, a nice rich dark forest green would have enhanced the birds. As is to me the black is overpowering them and there coloration & and you loose apart of them because of it.

Thank you! The black is deep green trees. The flash caused it to turn black. I used the burn tool to cover a bit of noise.
