I bet this looks great in colour, but there's something so dramatic about pictures in black & white, & this is no exception.
The crashing waves against the rocks with the explosion of droplets punching the air are superb.

b/w, a good choice. it really gives pattern to the wind swept spray, 18mm lens adds drama and majesty, well done, worth getting wet for. :)

There are sacrifices we have to make in order to get that great shot.

I like the BW conversion it does present a dramatic effect, the detailing in the rocks are well defined. The crashing of the waves are well timed and reached their highest in this post, good framing as well.

Amazing. You can feel the spray of water coming at you and the smell of the salt water. Love it in BW just make it come alive. Fantastic shot!!!
