Very nice image, rich in natural colors this piece is well put together. The vegetation in the upper right turns a bit distracting, clone that out and it would finish this off nicely.
The way you cropped this is highly artistic, including the reflection you caught the entire image, no cut off, super pro.
The amber colors against the silhouette bird is well done, highly sot after rendered well.

This is indeed a lovely photo. This is what I would call a golden pond, and the colors are just fantastic. The surface of the water with this incredible shine looks like it was hammered in gold.
The silhouette of the bird and its reflection in the water is standing out nice and sharp with well defined details. Personally I would have cloned out the branch in the upper right corner to keep the very clean and simple look which is so effective in this composition.
The bird is so well placed within the frame and together with the neat cropping it makes for a perfect composition. It is a very special atmosphere in this scene which you have captured so well. I wish you luck with the contest. Since I am not allowed to give you more than 5 stars, I have a pretty good idea who you are. LOL

A different view of fall for sure grabbing our attention to imagine the beauty of the fall colors that are reflected in the waters - the birds silhouette is making this picture special and perfect so we can see that this water is real - great idea to experiment just with fall reflections - great contrast and luminous presentation - well done

My only suggestion would be a bit sharpening the edges of the bird, the resizing process probably has created some blur there. Great photo, thanks for sharing.

I like this image but there is something not quite right about it, although to put my finger on it precisely is very difficult! I like the framing (rule of 2/3rds applying). I like the wonderful colours in the water too. The bird in black works so well, as does the reflection. So what don't I like - I am not sure!
