Very pretty indeed. So soft and romantic in appearance. My idea of a typical English rose. The colours in this bloom are gorgeous - soft pinks with some darker tones. The inclusion of a small bud in the background works very well and adds more interest. Particularly like the background colours though which definitely enhance the painting.

That's a very splendid piece of work on that rose.
fabulous details & love the shading you have used so subtle.
The way you have featured one rose & kept one in the background works so well .
nice background colours they lift the roses off the canvas, with out over powering

This is a very pleasant picture of delicate roses. The colors are subdued and harmonious. The lighting and contrast are good. Your technique seems excellent to me. This is a picture that one does not tire of looking at.

Nice delicate capture of the roses. The technique is good in showing the convoluted nature of the petals and the nice graduated shades of color. The background is well done and very complementary to the roses. Light, airy and visually appealing.

Nice painting, Suzanne. Your colors are so soft which creates the feel of the soft pedals. The background colors area a good choice also. The background rose adds depth and the nice green foilage helps the eye center on the main subject.
