I love this drawing. It is a beautiful image of a young woman, and your drawing technique is excellent. Your ability to capture light and contrasts is especially good. Very nice!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I appreciate it.

What a wonderful drawing, the detail is very good but it is the mood of the entire work that holds you. The eyes are deep in thought and the lips pouting as she plays with her hair, what is she thinking.
Well done,
Donal

Your skills with a pencil are truly remarkable, but your emphasis on characterization, both striking and compelling, is better still. Indeed, your light manifestations bear a discernibly haunting yet subtle spirituality. Very well done and thank you for sharing.--Dr. Carlton

I draw a lot with just a pencil too. For a long time espeacially when I was a kid that's all I had to make a picture with so I got good and liked using them. I could understand most of your notes and think you didnt spell portrait the right way but I dont spell good either but I like drawing real people instead of ones on other pictures because its more fun except when I try to paint my kids and they can't sit still. But one of my wifes friends likes me to draw her and will sit for me as long as she can and once at school our teacher had a woman come in and stand in front of the class so we could all draw her. You really know how to use a pencil. The eyes on the girl and her lips make her very pretty and the way you've drawn her hand is perfect and so are the shadows and the way shes looking at whoever is looking at her. But try drawing a real person this good. Its more fun and when you draw them this well they really like it and want to keep the picture for themselves but I always make them pay me for the picture except my wifes friend. Some of my drawings I give to her but most I keep. I even sold one of her to her daughter who was visiting us from Samoa. Great job!

Linda if I had half the talent you did I would be so very blessed and happy, I have talent but working on it to refine and someday be as good as you or others here, Your talent and thank you is enough and I really cannot wait from the heart to see more.

This is an excellent peice of art work with great details and fine light and shadow work.
Wonderful initial and visual impact. Great technical excellence! Almost unbelievable that this could be achieved with pencil! It really does look more like a black and white photo than a drawing.
I wish I was better a critiquing
this type of art. I really like it and can appreciated the hard work and effort that must have gone into this.
Superb work!
Thanks for sharing and huge
congrats

Dear Paul,
Your review is stellar. I wonder if I would have felt the same way if you found a fault? The fact that you didn't makes your review all the more wonderful. I am humbled by the wording and the kindness of your praise. Bless you, dear one.

Im touched Linda!! Truely. I felt my review/critique of you art was short and not well detailed but I just don't know as much about the traditional art form. If my critique did have some down points to it, of course you would not feel the same! Well you shouldent as it is a perfect work in my amateur eyes.....I just couldent believe it were so well done that I could not really tell at all it wasen't a black and white photograph!
Again Im totally amazed and blown away by it!
Than you for that thrill........And thanks for your kind reply. I look forward to seeing more of you work Linda.
Warm Regards,
Paul

This is absolutely beautiful, Linda. I'm going to have to go check out the rest of your work. Love the look on her face, and the lighting through the whole drawing is great. The sheen on the love seat or chair really sets this piece of work apart from others. A persons face is never the same on both sides. There seems to be a younger and happier side, and an older looking and sadder side. You can certainly see that in this drawing. Beautiful job. Thank you for sharing it with us.
