The big blue eyes, and the "smile". She is a little cutie and the pet chicken looks a lot more comfortable with the picture than it's owner. Love the contrast in the clolrs of herjacket and the bright red comb of the chicken.

I love eyes...and you did a great job capturing them...with a hint of light in each, they are vivid and clear.
The tight cropping/framing is great, the spot lighting (or is that a Vignette you added later) works really well.

A well framed portrait. Although as you say, the smile is a little forced, its a good clear image, well focused and lit. The addition of the chicken adds to the story. Which reminds me - its time for my supper :-) well done.

Precious child. When I opened the shot, I thought i would see a beautiful blue jay or other bird and was surprised to see a charming little girl instead. What no bird, I said to myself, and then I looked down to see the rooster. Lovely shot, Willie.
