What a great closeup of an ugly old buzzard. They often don't fly until you are right on them. We're always afraid we'll get one in the windshield. so much roadkill with the speeds people drive today. They really do a service. God knew what the world needed. Colors are marvelous. Good storytelling. Background good. Lighting good. Nice detail in the feathers. Thanks for sharing.

As usual a great shot of a bird. It is absolutely nothing to put a finger on. It is sharp, the colors are good and the use of light excellent. Nicely cropped and nice placement of the bird within the frame. Just perfect.

Nice find of this turkey vulture. We see them soaring here sometimes but I've not yet had the opportunity to photograph one.

Willie this is a fine shot, well captured and from your car. Good focus, light and contrast. Such flawless detail here. Gosh his wee head is so small, and rather ugly, but such a fine color. A very unusual looking bird but the stance gives off an air of elegance all the same. The colors of the feathers are beautiful but it's the neck and head that really give this fine bird it's unique look. Backdrop frames this shot well.
