Great shot.
Love the stop action, with very very little blur.
The fall colors reflected on the water add interest, and enhance the point of interest.

Nice shot. What a great capture. Being at the right place at the right time gives this shot great presentation. Love the colors and the reflections of colors on the water. This guy is certainly the center of interest. Technically a very nice shot. Story is good and the lighting is excellent.

This is a beautiful capture of the lovely heron - so clear with wonderful reflections in the water. I like the angle you took this from. How fantastic to live by this lake! Lighting and focus very good showing excellent detail. Great composition.

This is an amazing shot the way you caught him like this. The way you see that fish in his beak is neat. What I like the most is how his wings are open and how wet he looks. An excellent and interesting picture.

Very nice. Now the problem is to swallow that fish which is very interesting to watch. Good setting to get the stop action and the surrounding area. Was the heron reflection good? Thanks for the notes and the settings.

thank you so very much! They usually get back on the post to swallow but this time he flew off squaking all the way. I guess he wanted to eat in private! Most of the reflection was cut of but it was good!
