If I could give you 10+ stars, I would! This is an AWESOME shot. How on Earth were you able to get this amazing, detailed photograph? The detail of the feathers, the beak, his eye - it's absolutely amazing. What a neat photo. I like how he stands out so much against the blurry background. That small about of background that is showing really adds a lot to the photo and makes the bird stand out greatly.

A lovely image but I find that background a bit distracting. Beautiful colours in the bird, especially the beak.

This is a great macro shot. I really wonders who the photographer could be. Your focus is spot on showing a nice bright eye and good details in the feathers. Good use of light. The tight cropping works well and I like how you more or less filled the whole frame. Lovely composition with good balance and DOFF, Good luck with the contest.
