Hi Willie, this is a piece of master wok. Beautiful compose and cropped, the photo is captivating in all aspect. The eye is the center of focus and the beak is the depth of the element. The feathers of the body and the folded neck provides the intriguing story it is telling. The blurred background puts everything in perspective. The sun position is just right for the day. The little speck of light in his eye is the life of the photo. An excellent piece of master photography. Good fine work here, really!

This is a fantastic initial impact image of the heron. You got so close that you could see the whites (oops) yellow of the eyes. Great close-up. Good composition focus,detail and dof. Good artist notes. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so very much! There was three on the lake this day but this was the only one close enough! The light was bad from where I was and until I got close none of the shots was any good!

You got this one right on as usual. Willie I think the reason he does not move is he knows you by name? Only joking, Can't get over the colors these birds have. Their sharp features and beautiful lines are always captured in your Photo's. Background colors blend in to the subjects natural colors.
