A very nice scene presented in a very good composition. Like the way the heron is captured carefully edging along that branch. Your composition has given plenty of room for the reflection too. Your shot is sharp and well exposed giving us those great autumn colours. I would consider removing the branch reflection in the top left hand corner as it is a distraction. Nevertheless a very good photo! Best of luck in your contest!

Lovely colors and reflection..I like the natural "jiggle" in the reflection..makes it really pop! I might remove the (branch?) in the upper left..I find it distracts from the beautifully shot heron. Donkeyoatey

I love the fall color reflections in the water in this shot. they color blend magically. The bird is captured well with it's attentive glare, and the composition is lovely.

This is a very good capture of the beautiful blue heron and his reflection. I love all the autumn colours reflected in the water too which contrast nicely with the lovely blue of the heron. Lighting and focus very good. Very nice composition.

What a great shot! I love herons and this picture really illustrates well what they are like. He looks as though he is just going to pounce! I like the balance and the depth of field that you have used. Good composition too.

Gee, I wounder who this blue belongs to? Great capture! I very much like the way the reflection is captured. Nothing like looking at a Heron upside down. Great depth of field in this shot.
