A great looking bird! So beautiful he definitely deserves his central composition!! Caught in a good pose he looks precariously balanced. The shot has first class sharpness and exposure which give lots of good detail, colour and texture making a thoroughly enjoyable photo. Very good work, well done, best of luck in your contest!

Good clarity. We can see the defintion of feathers well, and his beak and eye.
Good backround for color and blur.
The exposure is good.

Very cool. Using a large aperture to blur background completely works well here. Nice bright colors in the bird and the branch creates a nice arch to add some shape.

This photo of that little bluebird makes him seem so 3-dimensional, that I feel I could rach out and stroke his powdery soft wings. The clarity shows even his tiny feet and claws. Great color, composition, and use of natural lighting. The background is nicely muted to make him stand out even more.
