This is a magnificent close up! The detail is just fantastic, such that I feel I can reach out and stroke his head. Certainly a very beautiful bird. I have never seen one of these, so this is a real treat! Thank you for the wonderful capture!

So beautiful my friend. The clarity gives us the full appreciation of those tiny coloured feathers. I wonder if he knows that he'll be stopping by for dinner and a nap? The seed in beak is truly precious. Thanks for sharing. Cyn

Lovely close up. Nice colors, lighting and focus. I like how the background is blurred out, keeping the main focus on the bird. The red on his chest stands out on the photo a lot. Thank you for sharing it, nice job!!

OMG you can see every little flicker of feather. What great clarity and focus. You can see this bird has brown eyes due to this excellent clarity and sharpness. The red is so vibrant in color and the white so pure. Great, great shot. Great skill!
